FYI: American Airlines Changes Bill Review

Self-insured employer American Airlines no longer utilizes Genex Services Bill Review. Effective February 1, 2018, American switched to Sedgwick Claims Management Services National Bill Review.

American switched only their bill review services, from Genex to Sedgwick; Sedgwick CMS was and remains the airline’s third-party claims administrator.

For DaisyBill clients, we’ve updated the electronic billing route for American Airlines. Providers do not need to make any updates on their end, as the payor and claims administrator remain the same.

Providers may direct any inquiries directly to Sedgwick Claims Management Services at (866)-495-7844.

We’ll keep readers updated on any other changes to bill review or claims administrators for major California insurers as they arise.
