The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation (TX DWC) is once again doing what few other state agencies even attempt: empowering providers to navigate workers’ compensation with confidence.
From July 22 to August 14, the agency will host the next round of its workers’ comp “Boot Camp”: a live, 8-part webinar series that aims to equip providers, billing staff, and practice administrators with the information they need to deliver care compliantly and get paid correctly.
Each session features detailed instruction from TX DWC experts, with time for Q&A. For providers, this investment of a few hours can pay off handsomely—helping you optimize workflows, prevent billing errors, and reduce the risk of denials and disputes.
As always, we applaud the TX DWC for its proactive support of providers who treat the state's injured workers.
Each live session of the Boot Camp walks attendees through key processes that every treating provider and billing team should understand—from authorization to fee disputes to return-to-work reporting.
TX DWC staff explain:
Each webinar includes:
This program demonstrates how the TX DWC treats providers like essential partners in the workers’ comp system. With workers' comp agencies in other states ignoring (or outright undermining) providers, the Texas approach is a model to learn from.
All sessions begin at 12:00 PM Central Time, live via Zoom. Providers and staff must register for each session separately. Registration links for each session are below:
