2018 Average Days to Payment for Interpreter & Copy Services

Last year, more than 107,000 interpreter and copy service bills were processed by DaisyBill. The top 20 claims administrators took an average of 10 business days to process these bills.

DaisyBill’s electronic billing software allows us to track detailed statistics on payments and denials, including speediness of payment amounts.

The following statistics reflect payment speed -- the average number of business days between the electronic submission of an interpreter or copy service bill and receipt of the explanation of review (EOR) -- for the 20 top claims administrators.

Remember, Labor Code §4603.4 and the DWC Billing and Payment Guide require claims administrators to process electronic bills within 15 days.
