CA Judicial Branch Changes TPA

CA Judicial Branch Changes TPA

Third-Party Administrator (TPA) Acclamation Insurance Management Services (AIMS) has lost another employer client. As of July 1, 2022, the California Judicial Branch Workers’ Compensation Program (JBWCP) utilizes Sedgwick Claims Management Services as its TPA for all claims.

CA Judicial Branch Swaps AIMS for Sedgwick

Following JBWCP’s switch from AIMS to Sedgwick, all claim numbers remain the same. Providers should submit Second Review appeals for JBWCP bills to Sedgwick, including bills initially submitted to AIMS.

The JBWCP is the fourth self-insured public employer to switch from AIMS as of July 1.

We remind self-insured employers that employees are best served by a carefully considered, well-researched choice of TPA. daisyBill helps self-insured employers with this choice by publishing California compliance data for all claims administrators, including Sedgwick.
