  • The Elevate Work Comp conference in San Diego, September 21-23
  • The California Urgent Care Association (CalUCA) Western Regional Urgent Care Conference in Santa Ana, September 23-25
  • The California Psychologists Association (CPA) conference in Sacramento, September 24-27

Each of these conferences offers extremely valuable educational and networking opportunities, as well as a chance to understand and help shape the near and long-term future of California’s troubled workers’ comp system.

Conference details, registration links, and info on exactly where to find us at each event are below.

Elevate Work Comp 2026

Elevate Work Comp brings claims experts, risk managers, attorneys, providers, and other stakeholders together for the “most electrifying” comp event of the year. With dozens of industry leaders presenting and a focus on intentionally facilitating more substantive networking, it’s a must for comp professionals.

The Elevate Work Comp conference will take place September 21-23 at:

Hotel del Coronado
1500 Orange Ave
Coronado, CA 92118

Attendees can register here. The agenda includes sessions on California comp case law updates, an exploration of complex claims, a panel on key elements of Medical-Legal psychiatric reporting, and much more. See the full session list for further details.

Elevate will also feature a special guest appearance from the new Administrative Director of the California Division of Workers’ Compensation, Nicole Richardson.

daisyBill Cofounder Sarah Moray and Director of Accounts Danielle Danetra will be at Booth #29.

CalUCA 2026

The CalUCA Western Regional Urgent Care Conference invites urgent care owners, providers, and related professionals to learn and network over three days focused on the unique challenges and opportunities of the urgent care model.

The CalUCA conference takes place September 23-25 at:

Hotel Zessa
201 E MacArthur Blvd
Santa Ana, CA 92707

Attendees can register here. The agenda includes sessions on legislative updates, panel discussions, and deep dives into respiratory testing, AI, and medical decision-making. The full agenda is available here.

CPA 2026

The largest state psychological association in the nation will gather mental health professionals for four days of in-depth learning, always-helpful networking, and discussion. The CPA is a tireless advocate for the value of psychology, and this year’s conference promises to push that effort aggressively.

The 2026 CPA conference will take place September 24-27 at:

Hyatt Regency Sacramento
1209 L St
Sacramento, CA 95814

Attendees can register here. The CPA touts a lineup of “transformative” sessions on clinical and business-related issues, including opportunities for Continuing Education credits. The conference agenda (available here) includes sessions on the new American Psychological Association supervision guidelines, test security in California, AI, and medication overuse.

Whichever conference(s) you plan to attend, stop by to ask your most burning questions about workers’ comp billing compliance, electronic billing, dispute resolution, treatment authorization, or any other aspect of the administrative side of treating injured workers.

If you’re inclined, we’ll share how our comp-specific e-billing technology and proprietary network of direct clearinghouse connections help practices get paid faster (on average, in less than 10 days) and more accurately.

As broken as the workers’ comp system is, events like these demonstrate how stakeholders with bold ideas can come together to improve it. With the right knowledge and technology, treating injured workers can be a viable, financially sustainable part of any practice’s business model.
